Belmont Students raise money for Haiti Relief efforts!

The Belmont K-Kids group sponsored a school-wide coin drive. The Hope for Haiti money was donated to the American Red Cross Cornhusker Chapter. The coin drive was a 3 week long effort and involved all classrooms at Belmont. The awesome students of Belmont, their families and the members of the Sunrise Kiwanis club donated a total of $683.37. Thanks so much to all who worked on this coin drive and making it such a success!

Important Reminders

  • Tuesday, Feb. 23rd-PLC Early Dismissal Day
    School will dismiss at 1:35pm. Teachers will be working together in their professional learning communities to create learning opportunities to meet the needs of all students.
  • Tuesday, Feb. 23rd 8:15am, Cougar Pride Assembly, Gym.
  • Tuesday, Feb. 23rd-2-9pm, CLC Blood Drive in Cafeteria.
  • Tuesday, March 9th, 5:30 pm, Belmont Family Association General Meeting, Carnival Topic
  • Friday, March 12th-4th Quarter CLC After school Club Registration comes home. You will be informed by mail what clubs your child was enrolled in. Due to the amount of interest, students are not always able to get in all the clubs they register for.
  • March 18th and 19th, Kindergarten to Chet Ager Nature Center in the morning. Make sure your child is at school on time so they won't miss the bus!
  • Kindergarten Registration-for next school year from 8am-6pm and Friday, March 19th from 8am-4:30pm, Belmont Office. If you have children that will start kindergarten in the fall, please call the office to let us know. You will be receiving a mailer soon.
  • March 22-26th-Third Quarter Break. No school for LPS Students this week.
